The end

So. I guess this is it. One year. Done and dusted.

ITM finished with a bang. I loved my final display for HSC marking. And I am really proud with what I have put together. Im hoping that my marks will reflect the hard work I put in. HOWEVER, Im just happy knowing I did my best.

DRAMA also finished with a bang. I was originally worried about marking, but I got into character and  the rest is history. Apparently the whole drama class performed better than we ever have before.

ART has not finished, No.
Im just finishing the bushes out the front.
I have to hand it in on monday to be packed and sent to be marked.
I still consider this to be finished though.

I almost don't know what to do with myself now I have finished these majors. But I am so relieved.
This year has flown, Im gonna miss it, but I'm looking forward to what God has got install for me in the future.

We shall see what happens!

WOW.

ITM is great. Im starting to doubt the quality of my work, but thats probably cause i have been looking at it for nearly a year.
We had our works night and I thought it did well! I even had people come up to me and ask to buy some of the products! XD
Thats actually a pretty bad photo. Oh well.

DRAMA I thought I did really well, as well. Miss seemed surprised!
On the night though, i actually forgot my lines and had to impro.
I cannot do this when HSC is marking.

ART is blegh.
I thought what i put forward was worth more than the trial mark I got. Why does it always feel like I put in so much effort, and I NEVER get the marks.
Im so sick of art and school!!!

Week 37 + 38

I know.
HOLIDAYS ARE BUSY.

ITM is great, I got my pens! I thin i just want to re do one photo and after that, It will be done.

DRAMA is also great. I got an outfit for my character! And I have been really working hard to keep understanding her deeper. If that made sense.
Group is going to be so stressful.

ART is going well. I found the lights! Little LED lights so I wont need an electrician!

This is it so far. I still have to glue and nail everything together but YEAH.

Week 35 & 36

I know. I missed friday but oh well. Its holidays eh?

ITM is great. I ordered my pen for my display products. And I think thats all i needed to do.
I may go over my website again.

DRAMA is fairly good. We did our drama assessment GP and we went well. Its quite over the time limit (How did I guess??) and characters need to be more defined but overall good.
IP is slow going. I have to find the motivation to do it again. I'll get there though.

ART is great. I have actually completed most of my house! I just need to get the lights, do the stained glass door and hammer it together! YAY!

I have actually done nothing this week. I really cannot be bothered. I guess Im catching up on every other part of my life such as dancing etc.

Oh well, 9 weeks to go!
BUT 4 weeks till majors are due!

Week 34

Only 10 more weeks of actual school left. DUDE.

ITM is good. I got my folio back and I got 86!! I am so happy with that! Another bonus is that this should help me hopefully top ITM. I just have to work hard on trials! I dunno, ill have to wait and see i guess.
My website is finished. Im just making a few adjustments. My products are all printed except for the pens. so i'll need to do that in the holidays!

DRAMA is meh... I actually started crying in class cause I felt like all I am doing is sucking in my IP. I felt like I am disappointing myself. But I'll get through it. I have to fall in love with my character again, seeing as she has changed so much. I'll need to get the costume in the holidays.
The group is going fairly well. Its gonna be long though. I have another couple of practises coming up.

ART is getting behind. I have no idea what I am going to do for the windows. this is really stumping me. Ill just have to think about it this weekend. I didnt realise how much wood work was required to make a mini house. DUDE.

Week 33

So, once again an interesting week.

ITM is good. I have handed in my second part of my folio. I just have to keep updating.
Last week I printed and binded my books and folders. HOWEVER, my mum accidentally spilt green tea all over them. So I had to get them re printed and binded. Luckily it is weeks away from being due!

DRAMA is going well. My individual is taking on new levels. Miss has been giving us some ways to really understand our character and it has been helping tremendously. I found I sort of hit a brick wall a couple of weeks ago, in particular, with the latest assessment. I couldn't really get into character very well, I just felt I was acting. This was because I wasnt understanding her very well.
Group is falling behind quite a bit. Though, we have finished the script and have started actually working out staging and the characters for the first scene.

ART. I have no idea what to do for the windows now that miss has made me re think them.
Im actually building the house now which is good.

Week 32

So it has been an interesting week.

ITM. Is good. I have now printed and binded my books, printed my folders and cut my rubbers. Photos up soon!
The folio. YEAH. I guess I'd better get stuck into that. Its been a busy week.

ART I handed in my flower boxes and was very happy with the response I got with them. However, it was more my overall idea that still needs fleshing out. Miss put my artwork like this; I have five small artworks and the house is the frame.
Cool.. eh?

DRAMA is going well. I found I went backwards with my IP, I sorta hated it for a bit cause I was not connecting with my character at all. So we did an exercise of imagining our character at home. It ended up giving me a deeper level of emotion that she would feel. Now when I am performing my ip, I think it seems more real.
Group is slow. Its been difficult group work and teamwork wise. YEAH. But I dunno... I may have a chat to the group about it sometime.

ITM. I finished the website. Now to do my folio and tweak.

DRAMA. Is slow. I guess ill have to work on it this week.

ART. is good. I have finished my flower boxes and cut out the basic of my house. I just need to cut more wood, assemble and decorate!

Week 29

ITM is going really well. I have now made some flash ads. im going to have to get my butt going if i want to get this done.

DRAMA is ok. I have been re thinking my costume and possibly want to go buy something. Ill buy something that i would wear again.
The GP is going amazing! I think we have nearly finished our first draft!

ART I need to keep going. I have cut out the house. just need to cut a bit more wood then ill assemble and decorate.

Week 28

WOOPS.

ITM is still trudging along. I now have to do flash adverts.

DRAMA is frustrating. I did my performance and didnt feel like i did particularly well. I have to change my costume and move more in the second half of the performance.

ART is going well. I have made the two flower boxes and I am starting on doing the flowers.

Week 27

THANK THE LORD!

ITM. Adobe Muse is now selling and you can download a trial! SO thats just what I did! YAY.
Other than that, nothing has happened.

DRAMA is going really good, I just have to work on my Vocal Dynamics. Other than that I think its pretty down pat.
The GP is going well as well. Although, we are going to have to really pump it out from here on in.

ART is yeah.
I have got the wood I need to make a basic houseish thingo. SO ill have to go into school and cut it up.

Week 26

ITM is goodish. I handed in my folio! It was more of a pain than necessary though. It cost me nearly forty bucks to print it at officeworks. And to make matters worse, they were rude to me. SO Im not printing there again.
I only have to wait till monday for adobe muse to be on sale. It is 25 dollars a month, seeing as I dont need it for a year. SIGH.
Money, money, money.

DRAMA. Is going fairly good. WE have sort of decided on a topic for our GP. Its going to be based off the BOS word mlt.com. We were going to make it into a dating website, meet love today.com.
Yeah.

ART is also money money money. I need to buy the stuff now.

So Adobe decided Muse is good to sell now, seeing as it was only a Beta.
BUT The tricky thing is, I cannot open my work. Not even to look at it. Muse does not work on my computer anymore. I dunno if it is because i missed an update while i was at Japan or what but DUDE.

I had a feeling this was going to happen though. I am so glad I actually made different copies of my website that open in a browser. I have an up-to-date version, THANK THE LORD!! SO i may just have to either not work on it at all (I dont have much left to do on it anyway), or figure out how to read the HTML. HA. It seems as if trying to not learn a whole stack of html at the beginning of the project, has turned for the worst and now I may have to learn a whole stack.

I could work on doing actual Advertisements maybe?? or printing my designs?

Week 25

ITM. My actual major has had no progress what so ever. I have been focusing on my folio for weeks now. I think once I hand it in on friday, Ill focus back on my major. I dont think I have much left to do anyway.
The advertisements are being a bit of a pain though. At first it was just going to be the random advertisements on the home page of the website. But now I think its not an actual advertisement. I may have to create advertisements that can be displayed on other websites. Although, I never see many stationery advertisements. Or I could even make one for the TV.
I dunno if that made any sense.

DRAMA. I think is sort of falling behind. I have a pretty big project to do due for week four. I have not done much in my folio. I guess ill just have to transfer these posts.
I have decided on a costume; A tan dress/top, skinny jeans, leather jacket, high heels, hair out. And I also have got my only prop; the small makeup mirror.
I think now it is group work, and practise, practise, practise.

ART is going really well; i am still a bit behind, but I am catching up.
I have now finalised my idea! I am doing a sculpture of the front of a middle class house. The door will have a stained glass window, the flower boxes will cast a two shadows, one saying truth and the other saying lies. The window is a different matter. At first I was going to have a silhouette of a woman and man. Then miss suggested giving it another level of meaning by having a tv playing behind them, and make it seem as if they are sitting watching a family movie. Maybe I could just have one silhouette. The deception has caused the breaking of the family.

Week 24

KONICHIWA!!
So. I just got back from Japan! It was so amazing!

ITM. Sort of stopped as I didnt have all of my books and stuff so I actually didnt do much. I did as much as I could.
I guess I'm just going to have to work at it for the next week or so.

DRAMA. Yeah.... no.

ART. I have sort of finalised my idea. Its going to be the front of a house with flower baskets. The flower baskets cast the words onto the house and say something about the people inside. I was thinking of having the silhouettes of the people inside. I could make it look sort of more like a dolls house maybe. hmmm... Ill have to keep thinking.

Week 21

SO. This will most likely be my last post for about two weeks as I am going away to Japan! YAY!

ITM. Got my mark back and ended up getting tied first! I am very happy with that!
So this week I have been slowly working on another product range page. I have really been focusing on my Folio as a part of it is due second week back to school.

DRAMA is going REALLY good. I now know all of my lines! And had a few lessons doing it with my teacher, she said it is going really well!! I have decided to wear high heels as it suits my character and Miss said it would work well.

ART. BLER... I know that I will be working with fake flowers or something like that. My latest idea involved flower boxes in front of a house thingo. It wouldnt be a whole house. Just the front. And you shine the light onto the boxes and the words appear. YEAH, Ill have to keep working at it. Hopefully Japan will give me inspiration.

Week 20

Well. Half way. ish.

ITM has had good progress. I played around with different features. I have done most of the contact page, and Have started on my products page. I scraped the shop with the shopping cart due to the fact that you really do need a server and the internet. In which, the internet will not be provided for marking.
Just for future reference, sir suggested a blog style page thingo.
I have been really doing each page bit by bit; do a little bit on one, then a little bit on another. That way I don't finish a page and realise I have to change it because something doesn't work on other etc. If that was understandable. I think it is coming along nicely. AND as sir said, they don't really mark because its good design, its more about what you learnt and WHAT it does.

DRAMA is good. I got my marks back for my exam and I was not happy at all, but oh well. Not much I can do about it now. I have actually signed up for this thing called User Based Casting. Im not exactly too sure what it is, but I have seen that you post monologues for a book, perform them and you get some constructive criticism back. I thought it was a good idea to help expand my acting skills. Its also going to do one of my favourite book, Uglies series. It would be such a dream, and so cool to play one of the main characters. 

I have not really been going through my monologue. I'm trying to get everything done before I go to Japan in a week and a bit. 

ART is better than what it was. I had a talk with Miss and she gave me a few Ideas to work on. So far, I'm still running with shadow art.

Week 19

Well, well, well. Exams were on this week. So this post will just be about how I felt I went in the exams.

ITM exam was really good. Although, it was pretty much all questions from past papers. Luckily I did quite a few past papers! I FLEW through multiple choice, I honestly thought I took 2 minutes max. I ended up having a whole hour for the long response so I took my time and wrote as much as I could. I think I ended up writing three or more pages!! WHAT!?! I know. I had to laugh at myself.

DRAMA was too rushed!! There was not enough time whatsoever! We had to write two essays with a minimum of 6 pages per essay. That gives 15min per page. Not even taking into consideration planning time or even picking up the pen and writing your number! So we had 3 plays prepared, one play was meant to be in it but we hadnt finished it. SO I ended up writing 6 pages for the first essay, and 3 for the second. I had absolutely nothing left to write. But then I thought, if I had the other play, i would be able to write the 6 pages, if time allowed me.
Don't you love this costume design??? Yes, Hunger games comes out this week!

ART was really good. I thought I did really well. My teacher came up to me the day after and said I got an A for the first part and a B for the second!!

Just a little inspiration.

Its funny, the rest of my Backyard looks like a pigsty (thanks to the dogs!), and yet there is this little gorgeous bush of flowers. To me they look like ballerinas. 

week 18

Exams start this week, well, they started yesterday. So that means, not much progress.

ITM. I have done a bit of my folio. I actually found the notes from the marking centre and I am going to make sure my folio does what they say the better folios did. Other than that, not really much.

DRAMA. Practising.

ART. I have fallen off the artistic train.
Although, i made a small sculpture exploring different ways to cast shadow. Got to continue.

Week 17

Fridays are quite a busy day. Well, dancing wise.

ITM has had some great progress. I got some simple HTML of the website in the previous post in order to create a competition page. It now has working text boxes!!! HOWEVER, due to the fact that we aren't allowed to have any internet access, i had to make it just LOOK like it had sent the information. So, im not sure how I can do the shopping cart and all that. I do have a contact in which i could get someone to help me do it. But I would imagine that for the shop to contact databases, it would possibly need internet. OR I may need to put the database with the internet file. I guess this is another researching thing.
It would be awesome if I could get both working properly. When its on display I could see what was being 'bought', haha.
I also modified the site. I figured out how to make the background a whole picture, so now no matter what the size of the window, it will be filled.
I think its coming along together nicely!

DRAMA is going really well. I had a few practises with my teacher and she helped me with a few ideas and ways of acting out a few of the parts. I have found that there are some tricky parts. But its going along nicely as well.

ART is not really going. Well, not ideas anyway. I have just been exploring different ways of creating shadow.

Week 16

I KNOW. I forgot.
Not at the top of my game lately. You know all of the finding yourself teenage stuff. Yeah.

ITM. Has had minimal progress on my actual major. just a few ideas thrown around here and there. Also been doing a few pages and aspects of my website. I am now about 85% sure I am going to use my favourite website. I may have to get some feed back from people to make it definite.
I am also worried about the program i am using. Im worried they will stop giving fortnightly updates right before i hand it in. I guess ill just have to make copies.
I also got my industry case study back the other day..... Yeah. Not saying much about that, just dissapointed. ALOT.
In itm classes I feel like such a nerd and goodie two shoes. I was the only one who had done their homework and I provided the majority of the answers. Is it wrong for me to feel like those who didnt do the homework shouldnt get the info?? Whether you do it or not, you get the same info in the end. its just sucky.
ANYWAY, if i wanted to talk feelings i should have made another blog dedicated to feelings.

DRAMA has had GREAT improvement. I went through it with my teacher and she helped me with a few parts. I am really getting the jist of it now. AND i am LOVING it!! I am so excited. However, there are two other girls (so that 3 out of 4 girls) doing comedy. So im worried about 'competition' and you know, not being the funniest monologue, i dont want to be the one who doesnt stand out.

ART is pretty good atm. Havent had any amazing ideas. I think i just keep limiting myself.

Week 15

Im just gonna get straight to it.

ITM. I have finished and handed in my industry case study. I am so glad I can focus on my major now. Its due the 13th of August.

DRAMA. Is going really well, i have made many changes and i think it is picking up. I thought it was rather dry at first but with the changes it is working.

ART I ended up getting a band 5 for my art project!! YAY.
now for my major. meh.

Week 14-Happy birthday to me! XD

So it was my birthday yesterday.
yeah.

ITM hasnt had much progress. I have been focusing on my Industry Case study that is due this friday. Its been a busy week.

DRAMA is good. We went to see the best HSC performances and works the other day and MAN is the standard HIGH!
I know that with my monologue, ill have to make it dramatic, not really realistic. So ill keep working on it.

ART is ok. Im waiting for my marks from the last project.

Week 13

Back to school, Back to dancing, Back to the busy life.
I would go mad if it weren't for dancing.

ITM. Adobe Muse is working REALLY well for me. I have made about three practise websites on it and figured a few things out. I just have to research about how to make a store with a 'trolley', and flash. I may have to know a few html stuff for the advanced things. I have also been working on advertisements, only the still ones though, not video atm. Ill need to get onto that.
I also finally got the questions back from my industry case study. She was confused about a few and suggested that I ask my father who is also apart of the company, due to the fact that she has a whole stack of new clients and is really busy. Well, at least I know the company I researched is popular, thats good.
The following is a practise website. I dunno if I love it. I love the font, the drop shadow/ paper effect. But I think the background is too crowded. I am a student and I AM learning.

DRAMA is going really well. I know half of my monologue now and have some idea as to what the character is. She is a British Australian who is in her early 20's. She has lost her job and is on the verge of a break down. I can't think of anything else I have done at the moment, ill make another post if I can think of it.



ART is 50/50. I handed in the work and was really proud of what I put together. However, my teacher said a few things that I took fairly strongly and I started to feel a bit upset that all that effort wasn't good enough. Although, once she saw the quality of the other artworks in the class, she was sort of saying the same things, but much nicer. She eventually said the concept is a band 6, but the actual work is a high band 4/low band 5.
I now know that she was being , i guess, 'harsh' to give us an idea of the standard of band 6 major works. She started talking about how the box should be made of wood and the glue should not be seen etc. I will take these into consideration, I did take a few into consideration before she said them, but I felt personally it wasn't the right time. I dunno. It happens. I got to get used to that if I want to get into a design business.
Theres just a lot happening at the moment and I can get rather emotional and take things the wrong way. Im working through it. I'll be good.

Breathing is always a good alternative.

Did you hear that explosion? That was just my ITM and DRAMA effort for this week.
Yep, you guessed it. NONE AT ALL.

Well, With ART I have a whole week to make an artwork. Its gonna take a bit of time. So I have started on that.

Why are you posting late, you may ask? Well, I went away to my caravan to RELAX. Its a new technique I learnt that helps to reduce the risk of heart attacks. Hear the sarcasm?
In all seriousness, I was not at all coping last week and my family felt it necessary to send me with my grandparents for the weekend away.

Week 10

It has been and will be a tricky sort of couple of weeks as my mum is going under radioactive treatment for her cancer. She had one treatment early last year and it affected me mentally. So we shall see how we go.

ITM, I will say, has had extremely little progress this week. I think the only thing I did was a few brainstorms for adverts. Wait, I also made my designs into pens! They look pretty cool.

DRAMA again, no progress. Just memorising 

ART has had amazing progress!! where to start??
I decided on an idea. It is to create a sort of rose bush, however, if I shine a light at a certain spot then in the shadow you can see the word secrets. I will be making and cutting each individual leaf and rose! I have a bit of work for this one :P
I have also been researching what materials to use, I have narrowed them down to a few now so I am making small little tests to see which would work better.
I completed the questions on the subjective and cultural frames (task 6). And put in a log sheet into my log book.
Heres the small study :) I love this idea! This is what the audience should hopefully see.

Week 9

HEY.

ITM.
I have researched web design programs and have come to the conclusion of using adobe Muse. I know it is only a beta, but it does the job. I do not want to learn code, if it was a real company, then I would hire someone to do the coding and build the website. It is actually a really cool program!
I have also researched advertisements for the webpage and tv ads. I have come up with a few ideas for both. I have also started to put the web based ones into illustrator. I now need to figure out how to put my designs on pens etc. for the shop aspect of the website.
I have also scraped a few website layouts. They just arent working.

DRAMA.
Memorizing.

ART.
I have gone through a few ideas and I think I may do an artwork with a pair of my pointe shoes. It sound so gay and corny. My artworks are always like that!
anyway, so the idea was to have my pointe shoes flat with the ribbons going up. the shadow from the ribbons will show point shoes up on the block.
my main aim is to make the audience feel mislead. and i dont think its gonna work.
I found another artist with amazing artworks; Fred Eerdekens.

The audience thinks that the shadow is meant to be a certain way, but in fact, it has changed. HOW AWESOME.
